Writing all day
I'm working at the language school and our first child, Giorgio, was born on 27 July 1905. Also, my brother moved here and works at the same school now! Most of the time, I'm writing. I'm working on a short story collection called The Dubliners.
UPDATE: The girl of my dreams
Her name is Nora Barnacle and I met her recently. Our first date took place on the 16 June 1904 and I'm in love.
University life
After college, I studied languages at the University College, where I met some pretty important people, especially from the theatre and literature scene. Ibsen was kind of my hero at that time. I graduated in 1902 and considered studying medicine, which is why I left Dublin for the first time.
My dad's drinking problem
Update: It's been a really tough time for my family. My dad has started drinking more and can't manage his money, so he can't provide for us anymore. It has gotten so far that he could not pay the fees for my College anymore. But I'm in luck, my dad had some good connections with a Jesuit priest so...
